Feast of Divine Mercy
Plenary Indulgence
The first week of this time is considered as one day, so that the joy of Easter lasts eight days until the Second Sunday of Easter and therefore call this first week we conclude today, Octave of Easter.
plenary indulgence is granted, under the usual conditions (sacramental confession, Eucharistic communion and prayer for the intentions of Supreme Pontiff) to the faithful who, on the Sunday after Easter, known as the Divine Mercy, in any church or chapel, totally isolated in a spirit of affection for a sin, even venial, participate in prayers and devotions held in honor of Divine Mercy.

This decree has perpetual force, notwithstanding any contrary provision.

Admonition To hear the ad
After the Holy Mass for the Feast of Divine Mercy, or any other act of worship held in his honor, the faithful can pray as follows:
