praying, I came to the conclusion that only I, as Pastor, I have to take such a serious time and break this vicious circle. I anticipate and to any other intervention, which could further exacerbate the situation.
As I have anticipated this book and spontaneously, and against the advice of many, my resignation to the archiepiscopal Santa Fe. This, in no way means recognition of guilt or accept charges. Quite the contrary. At peace with my conscience, rejection of all charges. Knowing anyone or anything-even my own conscience, can judge. My judge is the Lord.
This presentation of my resignation is a more pastoral service to the Church I love and I tried to serve throughout my life, especially in the twenty-five and eighteen years of Bishop at the head of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz, as the Successor of the Apostles and Vicar of Christ on it.
