If something can confirm the gospel today is the difficulty that teachers have, in this case the Supreme Educator, to become understand. The hard heads of the disciples of Emmaus refused to understand the mystery of the Cross and, therefore, were that afternoon so downcast, fearful and disillusioned, who dared to question the divine plan: "We expected other ... thing. "
But the Lord, not to abandon his own, I went to step gently to explain the prophecies that, throughout Scripture, announced the suffering servant.
Upon hearing the Risen One, though his eyes were not yet clear, lit his heart enough to want your company: Stay with us Lord !.
And the view from the pan and disappear when the guy turned into burning fire, whose light illuminated his intelligence, dispelled their fears and, leading them to make their Easter, made them go from flesh to spirit.
